Thankful Thursday

Well today is Thursday. Therefore it is also known as Thankful Thursday. I am thankful for many things, as I have always said. Right now I am thankful I have passed all parts of my comprehensive exams to receive my masters in December. I found out the other day. I paused as soon as I read it and cried! My son came in and asked me what was wrong and I told him I passed my test.... he was so happy and gave me a hug and said he was so proud of me..."Yeah, momma you passed your very first test", actually I didn't have the heart to tell him this was not my first test. I told him I was crying happy tears. I am thankful for such a wonderful family who gave me a hug as soon as they heard. I am thankful that I have accomplished what I set out to do. I am thankful that through it all, I know that a force has been guiding me, God yes without a doubt , but also the wonderful presence of my Mom pushing me to complete it, what a wonderful lady, in a lot of ways I couldn't have done this without knowing that she wanted her kids to get an education to be the best they could. I miss that woman, I will till the day I take my last breath. I am thankful I had her in my life for the time she was given to me and my siblings and I am thankful that M2 and her had become close and that she got to know him. Yep, thankful thursday, I am thankful for my mom and my family.
