Yes the title says it all folks. M, my six year old daughter broke her toe. I entered the house today at nearly 6pm. My dad told me that M had stub her toe on the picture I had up against the wall because she and her brother were rough housing. I told her I would take a look at it in a second, I needed a potty break and needed to change clothes. Now M has stubbed her toe before so I didn't really worry about it too much. I got distracted by the boy who wanted to talk to Mommy for a minute (he stayed home sick) and I talked to him. M comes hobbling into my room I take a look at her toe and my word it sure is swollen and really red! I then proceed to tell her we are going to the ER, she begins to cry because she doesn't want a shot. I told her calm down because we don't know what is going on. So we get there the doctor says he doesn't think it is broken, and orders Xrays.... sure enough we are told she broke her toe! The toe next to the pinkie toe. He proceeds to tell us that there is no softball or P.E. for 3 weeks.... my daughter begins to sob so loud all in all repeating "I wanna play softball, please let me play".... I felt so bad for her. They wrapped it and gave her a little boot to wear for the next 3 weeks. She is so bummed.
If anyone knows my daughter than they know that this is a big deal for her not to play ball and also the 3rd time she has been in the ER for hurting her feet. Two times she put her Left and Right foot through a french door window pane and now this! What to do, what to do. My poor accident prone child.

I am so sorry to hear about her foot. Are you going to take a picture of her boot and Mom's?
I thought about taking a picture. I was also thinking about Bedazzling it as well. Hehe. I think it would look cute.
POOR, POOR MARY. I REALLY FEEL FOR HER. IS IT GOING TO BE ALEX AND MARY THAT WILL BE THE BROKEN BONE GRANDKIDS?
THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE WANT THE OTHER ONES TO PLAY CATCH UP BY ANY MEANS!!
HOPE ALL GOES WELL WITH THE TOES!
LOVE, GRANDMA
