How fast they Grow Up!

Well today was the day, I knew eventually it would happen but I figured it would happen a little later, how could I be so blind to the reality of it all. What am I talking about you may say? My two adorable children are very much into things such as the Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, High School Musical, yes 1 and 2. So when my daughter M asked me while we were at the store if she could have a BOP magazine I said yes. Of course I looked through it and wanted to make sure it was okay for her, you know wanted to make sure it hadn't changed since I had one.... oh so many moons ago. So then I picked one up for the boy, because it doesn't matter what it is if his sister has one then he wants one too. So then when we got home it happened. The posters, the posters guys! M and M3 realized that each of their magazines came with posters. So now my daughter and my son are sporting pictures of Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Zac Efron, and various other Disney stars on their walls so they can look at them! In reality it kind of broke my heart a little bit. I was not prepared to start putting up posters of their idols at this time, but I guess they are! Now I am not saying this is going to happen all the time, because it doesn't matter how ready they may be for something if Mommy is not ready for them to be ready then what I say goes. But I didn't really see a huge problem with a couple of posters, just a little teary because you see folks the picture you see in front of you as you read this blog is how I want to remember them always without any chance of them growing up. Unfortunately, I am not being realistic and slowly but surely they are Growing Up!
