The attempted phone call

Well since this is Time Travel Tuesday I will tell of the attempted call to a certain boy, that I am now married to. Long long ago in a up and coming city nestled in the DFW area, a girl by the name of Renee attempted to call M2, the boy she found incredibly cute, for a date. However, I was so nervouse that I continued to hang up on this boy. I called a total of 5 or 6 times I think. To make matters worse it was his oldest sisters wedding weekend I think... so there was family in town. It was so hard. So finally I got up the nerve to finally talk to him on the phone and he laughs at me!!! Can you believe that he laughs at me. He tells me he is sorry but he has never had anyone ask him out like this and I guess he was flattered. Anyways, we continued to date and the rest is history.... except for the part on our first date he gets a call at the movie theatre that his uncle has passed away. Being as he laughed at me on the phone, I thought he was trying to get out of the date until I found out it was all true.
